MARRIOTT - Guatemala City
Telephone : 502-2410-1777 Fax 502-2332-1877
- Excellent buffet breakfast included with most rates.
- The Marriotts breakfast is the best I have experienced in Guatemala City.
- INCLUDES: Omlettes made to order, fresh fruit, bacon, chuchitos(like tamales), fresh fruit juice, yogurt, cereal, pancakes, black beans, fried plantains, granola, and bread.
- shuttle runs every 1/2 hour from 4am to noon then every hour.
- The hotel has 2 shuttles. One sits at the airport and waits for arriving passengers. The other at the hotel makes the run every 1/2 hour or hour. If someone arrives between the normal schedule then they will take you to the hotel and the other one will go to the airport to await more passengers. This way you are not waiting for the shuttle. VERY RELIABLE.
- LOCATION: 1 mile North of the Guatemala City Aurora airport.
- 1/2 mile south of Los Proceres mall.
- 1 mile from the US embassy
- There is a small mini-market located just behind the Marriott. This is a great place to stock up on bottled water and snacks if you don’t want to pay the hotels inflated prices.
- ATM is located inside the lobby. You can withdraw from your home account with your debit or atm card. The machine will ask you how much you want to withdraw in Quetzales so have your calculator handy to figure out the dollar amount. This is where you will get the best exchange rate on cash. The only fee is the $1.50 ATM fee. (Some banks may vary fees and charge and exchange rate)
